12ft Streaming Service display
Ask:
Work in tandem with a 3D designer to conceptualize and design a display in to highlight various streaming services available for purchase. 3D designer thinks mostly about structure while I worry about the flat art to be placed in graphic areas.
Challenges:
Deliver clean design with character
Highlight the benefits of buying a streaming service from them
Create an area where the latest show can be featured as a selling point to the streaming services.
Stay within brand guidelines
First round: Graphics need more punch and impact. Think of a way to incorporate a style without venturing too far out of what the brand is comfortable with. The “directions” need more visibility and clarity since this is how people are directed to the screen for purchase.
Solution:
I had the idea to give the graphics the old-school theatre art deco style by using the frames around the center and top header graphics.
I kept them subtle by using tone-on-tone versus two different colors along with a slight center gradient for a little bit of a glow.
I also capitilized the the action words on each step (SELECT, PRINT & CHECKOUT) as a clear step-by-step instruction.
On the Benefits panel I added icons by each benefit for some playfulness and a way to attract the eye and the background is nod to hollywood spotlights.
